ENPULSION GmbH is a space tech company based in Austria. Founded in 2016, it has quickly become a dominant player in the space industry selling one of the most advanced propulsion solutions for small sats to a large number of worldwide satellite platform integrators. Our unique modular solutions offer to satellite manufacturers high performance at a low cost, enabling the exploration of the Solar System and the democratization of space. ENPULSION is thus positioned at the very heart of the New Space era.

Production. Means. Perfection.

ENPULSION has successfully introduced a high rate production of a high-performance electric propulsion technology. Based on value stream analysis, a scalable production line design has been implemented that scales to mega constellation production rates. Our product lifecycle philosophy is based on the agility of lean manufacturing combined with heritage quality processes. The final result is a high customer value in terms of product performance, cost reduction and short cycle times.

In December 2019 ENPULSION’s management system was awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification as a further proof of our commitment to quality without compromises and to the constant improvement of products and processes.

Who we are

The ENPULSION team believes that the way in which we develop and manufacture our highly sophisticated propulsion solutions matters as much as the products themselves. We are convinced that our customers, investors and the communities we are working with not only ask us to create products, jobs and shareholder returns, but to promote responsible, sustainable and inclusive business practices and act with integrity.

Where we come from.

The ENPULSION NANO uses the FEEP technology developed by FOTEC for more than 30 years. The positive ions emitted by the ion emitters have been used to control the electrostatic potential of a spacecraft or as primary ion source for secondary ion spectrometry on numerous space missions.
