Summary

Oxford Space Systems (OSS) specializes in the development of deployable antennas and structures across a variety of cubesat and smallsat mission profiles.

The company combines expertise in RF engineering, materials and mechanisms to bring new innovations to the space sector and create deployable antennas designed to deliver high performance while being lighter, more stowage efficient and more cost-effective than traditional solutions.

The OSS building has been specifically designed to enable OSS to undertake volume production of a range of antennas. In addition to a large cleanroom on the Harwell campus (300m2), the facility has a large light industrial area for antenna assembly and testing, thermal ovens, 3D printers and room for up to 65 engineering staff.

OSS has developed and implemented a Quality Management System (QMS) to document, control and improve the company's business practices. The QMS is written in accordance with and is compliant to the ISO 9001:2015 "Quality Management Systems – Requirements" international standard.

OSS is a member of the UKspace Trade Association and the ADS Trade Association. OSS is also an active member of the Harwell Space Cluster.
